About the Author

I write about trauma. I describe traumatised individuals and a traumatised world. I mainly fiction, but also criticism of authors who deal with trauma.

I have written two novels and a novella, and I am writing an essay about Walter Miller's 1959 novel, 'A Canticle for Leibowitz'. I am also planning to write about 'Children of the Alley' by Naguib Mahfouz, and I have the germ of an idea for a novel called '1832'.

I have published the novels and the novella.

I am a retired community mental health advocate and a childhood sexual abuse survivor.
