I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I am a voracious reader and have read all the top selling authors. Tides of Hope was one of the best! I loved the authors' descriptive development of the characters and a real feeling for the setting in Nantucket. Can't wait for her next book!

Sara is just out of an abusive 18 year marriage, her daughter is off to her first year of college and Sara has quit her job as an ER nurse due to burnout. She is off to Nantucket to live in and renovate a cottage for a friend while she finds herself. Gabe has left his CEO position from the family's well known financial investment company and is working at his first love as a carpenter. He also has been hired to renovate the cottage that Sara is living live. They both have baggage and neither one is looking for a relationship.
“This is the first book I have read (by) this author. Gabe and Sara were in their thirties which is a nice change. Both characters came to the island with baggage and the desire to start a new life. Neither was looking for love. But course sometimes it strikes when we least expect it. The characters were both well developed and likable. I felt like I was on Nantucket with the characters as I read the story. In addition to the love story between Gabe and Sara each character had a secondary story to work through. I enjoyed this story and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys contemporary romance. I will keep a look out for the second book in the series.” Christina Tetreault, Amazon bestselling romance author
