New York City, 1880
Twin sisters Charlotte and Scarlett have shared each other’s up and downs since the day they were born. Together, they take a bold leap and respond to ads in the paper from men out West who are looking for wives. Charlotte begins receiving responses right away and forms a bond with a gentleman named Leonard McKean, a railroad worker living in the Wyoming Territory. As Charlotte’s relationship via correspondence grows stronger, Scarlett becomes dismayed as the days pass without her receiving a even a single response. Being the supportive sister that she always has been, Scarlett offers to follow Charlotte out West to meet her new beau. When Scarlett learns that Leonard has a twin brother named Clarence, her expectations rise, but could this dream be too good to be true?
