"My eight-year-old son loves the Charlie series. We have been checking them out from our local library over and over again. They are fantastic books. Read them if you get the chance."

"This was the first of the Charlie books I read and I loved it. This would be an ideal book to read with a child in your life. It is simple enough a child can appreciate it, yet an adult can enjoy the humor. I lent it to my mother-in-law. She looked like I was insulting her by lending her a children's book. I told her to read the first chapter, if by then she wasn't hooked, don't continue. She didn't even get through the first page without being hooked."
