Book Summary

It's 1886 on the western prairies, and Noah and Annie have never met--but they're married.
Each has secrets and lies. Each desperately needs this union, for reasons they've shared in letters, and for others they've kept hidden.

They find that passion is easy. But can they learn to love one another?

There is humor and sadness, grief, friendship and love. A wonderful story that leaves you wishing for more.

Beautifully written with the perfect amount of Humor, drama (in a good way), and mushy love to keep you captivated until the end. I am a sucker for really romantic stories where the characters genuinely love each other, and this fits the bill. Don't get me wrong, Noah and Annie had their problems. It wasn't all puppies and butterflies.

I read this in one setting. It was a real page turner. I wish it was longer it was so interesting. Well worth the price and I can't wait to read her other books.

About the Author

I love people who don’t fit society’s definition of normal.

I'm a friendly hermit who disproves the belief that you can’t go home again.

I was born here in the Rocky Mountains of B.C., Canada, a fairly long time ago, and after many adventures, several marriages, three amazing sons, a couple of divorces, innumerable moves and six fascinating grandkids, I came home to the little coal mining town of Sparwood.

I live, breathe, read and write books, and I've written and published upwards of 55, mostly romance, which I obviously need to learn a lot about. I'm currently self-publishing e books, although I did publish with Harlequin, Avon, etc. for many years.

She lives alone, except for two rabbits. She has two of her six brilliant grandchildren living just down the street, and she relies on them for advice on all things electronic. She walks, reads, writes and likes this quote:

“When you change the way you look at a thing, the thing you look at changes.”
