Most people search for decades to find their soulmate; Rachel Masterson was born with hers. Rachel is fed up with being known as the crazy girl who talks to herself, so she's thrilled when moving to a new town gives her a chance at a whole new identity, without the stigma of her “imaginary friend,” Rider, the soul who has shared her body for the last fifteen years. Hit with the triple-whammy stress of trying to make new friends (and her first boyfriend) in a new school, far away from the only other person who has ever understood her, Rachel’s relationship with Rider is strained by the choices that she makes. When a tragic accident tears them apart, can Rachel live without her soulmate? "An intriguing supernatural story of life and love. The premise for this story is one I've not seen before. Kudos Kellie for such an original idea! And it's a series so the story doesn't stop with book 1 - which is always great. I typically read Christian fiction, and while this is not, it is a clean read and even has the bonus of great moral lessons. I love that Kellie isn't afraid to tackle some serious issues and in a way that will not be too harsh for most readers - well done, Kellie! She brings to light the harsh realities of abortion, the ideas of what is "normal" in society, and the dangers of dating with no rules. All in all, an entertaining and difficult to put down read! Excited for the next installment!" "God I love this book !!!! I would definitely give this a go. She triggered everything that a 15-year-old feels like, she made me nostalgic about my ways of how I used to decide things, for example, a crush on someone and daydreaming of marrying them one day. Also on how I used to be silly when I was a 15-year-old, I would defiantly recommend this book who is new to young adults and also for those who are seeking a love and original story. In this book, I also cried and laughed !!!! I would definitely read other books by this author." "Absolutely loved this book! Rider is so funny and likable, my inner teen couldn't help but develop a little crush lol. Rachel and Paige's friendship was sweet and relatable for anyone with a best friend that just gets you :) . Writing was great. Story kept me intrigued until the very end. Such a creative story overall! I can't wait to read the next installment!
