"Once again Ms Pywell has written a thoroughly gripping tale encompassing history, travel and crime. My opinion is that this writer is getting more accomplished with every page written and I find myself drawn into the plot with all its twists and turns. The motivations of key characters were not made obvious which definitely added to the intrigue - who could Mikky trust? I had no idea and was kept guessing - loved that! I have followed Mikky's adventures through the complete series and have really enjoyed her growth and development of character. Only an talented author can gradually reveal a softer side to a protagonist whilst maintaining her streak of ruthless determination. I have commented before on the excellent research and attention to detail. Rhodes came alive for me! Looking forward to more..."
