STORIES THAT INTRIGUE is one of the most wonderful books that I have read. It is the story of two authors from two different countries who met online and decided to meet in London to compile a book of adventures based on their travel experiences. Sam was from India and Julia from Trinidad. Julia was taking her sister to a University in France to study fashion designing. Although Sam told Julia he would meet them in London he was uncertain, as he had problems to obtain time off from his job and to get a visa.
Julia’s sister, Stephanie, was unaware that Julia planned to meet Sam and was upset when he turned up. Fortunately for them, he did, as he saved the sisters from two unfortunate occurrences.
After the drama in London, when someone went missing, the hotel manager Harry had a friendly conversation with the sisters. He told Stephanie that he planned to visit Trinidad and she gave him a long list of interesting things to do when he visited. It seemed so real to me because I live in Trinidad.
What I like about the book is the story of Sam and Julia is told in six exciting episodes and each episode could be a standalone story. I loved the ending.
I commend Author Brenda Mohammed on such a fabulous job.
I am happy that I purchased a copy of the paperback book from her home store. This book is a must-read.
