Unlocking the Truth by Matt Aubret is a short, fast paced book that talks about the differences between successful and non-successful people.
While I feel most of what's written in this book is common sense, the author does present some of it in a thought provoking way. I believe it's good to brush up on common life knowledge at different stages in a persons life. To be reminded that you are in control of your life, decisions, happiness and ultimately, your own success, can be beneficial and inspiring.
Having said that, Matt Aubert really only touches the surface on what makes a person successful or not. Does Unlocking the Truth make you think on taking steps to bettering yourself? Will it inspire you to change your ways in order to achieve the life you want? Sure. But then what? This book gives you the 'what' but doesn't really get into the 'how'.
This gives you a quick and basic run through of important steps to take in order to achieve your goal of being a successful person. Unlocking the Truth is perfect for someone who's just starting out in life; who's going out in the world on their own for the first time. This is more of a basic guide to help shape and/or restructure your thinking process, develop healthy habits and eliminate self doubt.
I would recommend giving this a read on your way to work/school/etc. It's short but motivational; it'll inspire you to keep focused on your goals.

I will start by saying that I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review.
I felt that this book by Matthew Aubert was okay, not really earth-shattering. A lot of things he touched upon are what I consider "common sense". The information tended to be vague and really did not (at least to me) provide much of a blueprint for change (as opposed to a book I'm currently reading for work called Change Your Questions, Change Your Life which details what steps to take to change a person's mindset). The question I found myself asking while reading this book is "How?"
I think this would be a great book to provide, say, a freshman starting his/her collegiate studies. I don't think this would be something I would recommend on a professional level.
I do want to mention that the author touched upon the death of Robin Williams and called him Robbins Williams throughout the book. There were several "your/you're" errors that drove me batty. I think a real quick editing run-through could fix those.

I really like the book

Thanks to bookreads and the author for letting me read the book !
For me to choose the book to read was to stop my procrastination for my seminar papers.
I Am usually very organised and motivated but I couldn’t overcome the step of writing with more motivation. I really like the book. I do like that author is not providing so much background information about himself but I think that’s how you like such books. I want information’s and I want them straight and logical. I have not tried all but for me the language was motivating enough!
I love the language, I meant there are some spelling errors, but the language in overall is very fitting for such kind of life advising book. I loveeeeeeee that he really got me motivated.
I think the book is for everyone who wants to improve his motivations and want to be more organise his life to get the most optimum out of oneself and still be happy about it. I like how he teaches you there is always room for improvement!
Found the book very inspiring I mean book is not a difficult read and something are maybe already known but you can get a lot out of it and think more about your way of living your life. I do not say I may agree to everything but all in all I think the book is inspiring. Doesn’t matter how old you are you can get something out of the book and that makes a good book actually.
